John Barrett

John Barrett is a finance executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within Medtronic since 2001. Currently serving as Vice President of Finance for Global Operations and Supply Chain, John leads all financial aspects of a global matrix organization, focusing on supply chain, sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution. Previous roles include Vice President of Finance for the Cardiac & Vascular Group and Vice President of Finance for EMEA, where John collaborated with C-suite executives to drive growth and strategic investments. Notably, John led the formation of Medtronic's first joint venture in China. Prior experience includes finance positions at Wyeth Medica Ireland Limited and Wyeth Nutritionals Ireland. John holds a BBS in Accounting and Finance from the University of Limerick and advanced finance certification from Munster Technological University.
