Micah Somers

Micah Somers is a seasoned industrial design professional with extensive experience in developing innovative products. Currently serving as Principal Industrial Design Engineer at Medtronic Diabetes since October 2021, Micah collaborates with a diverse team to create advanced technologies for diabetics. Prior experience includes a role as Principal Industrial Designer at Stratasys, where Micah engaged in cross-functional teamwork to align products with design guidelines, as well as a significant tenure at Logic Product Development, where expertise in embedded electronics was gained over nearly a decade. Earlier positions at Leisure Product Solutions and Leisure Design provided foundational experience in consumer design and project management. Micah holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial and Product Design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
