Miki Giffin

Miki Giffin is a seasoned toxicologist with extensive experience in the medical device field, currently serving as a Senior Toxicologist at Medtronic since July 2022. Prior to this role, Miki worked at Nelson Labs from November 2020 to June 2022, where responsibilities included serving as a Toxicologist and Associate Toxicologist specializing in medical device consulting. Earlier experiences include a Data Science Internship at Recursion, focusing on cardiomyocyte toxicity analysis, and multiple roles at Fresenius Medical Care North America, comprising Scientist II overseeing ISO 10993 testing, as well as earlier laboratory positions in research and development in various organizations. Miki holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Cellular/Molecular emphasis from Utah State University, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Weber State University, and a Master of Science in Biotechnology from the University of Utah.
