Roozbeh Atri

Roozbeh Atri, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in the fields of artificial intelligence and data science, currently serving as a Senior AI/Data Science Engineer at Medtronic since January 2022. Prior to this role, Roozbeh worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Cohen Veterans Bioscience, focusing on the development of machine learning and digital signal processing methods to improve health monitoring models. Roozbeh's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Florida International University, alongside significant research experience as a Graduate Research Associate where innovative solutions for prosthetics and sleep apnea detection were developed. In addition to research, Roozbeh contributed to the entrepreneurial sector as an Entrepreneurial Lead for NSF Innovation Corps, conducting extensive industry interviews on prosthetic advancements. Roozbeh also managed the Human Cyber Physical Systems research lab and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications.
