Maren Katterbach

Maren Katterbach began their career in 2009 as a Scientific Employee at ETH Zürich. Maren then moved to Lombardi Engineering Ltd. in the same year, where they held the role of Head of R&D Department and Project Engineer. In their role as Project Engineer, they provided expertise in the roles of consultant or designer for major grouting works within the framework of various projects in Europe, Africa, Latin America and Asia. In 2015, they became a Certified expert trainer for endurance sports and performance coach. In 2016, they became President of the Giovanni Lombardi Foundation. Finally, in 2019, they became the CTO of MeduSoil.

Maren Katterbach began their educational career in 2002 when they attended Paramedic School Aachen, where they earned their degree as a Rescue Paramedic in Emergency Care Attendant. Maren also attended RWTH Aachen University from 2002 to 2007, earning a Diploma in Physics and Geophysics, as well as studying Medicine. In 2007, they graduated from Delft University of Technology with a M.Sc. Eng. in Geo-Engineering, Geophysics, and Geomatics. Finally, from 2009 to 2011, they completed their PhD Research at ETH Zürich.
