Courtenay James NCIDQ, LEED AP has extensive work experience in the field of real estate and project management. Starting in 1998, Courtenay worked as an Interior Designer at VOA Associates before moving on to Gensler in 2000, where they served as a Project Architect/Designer. In 2006, they joined OWP/P Architects as a Project Architect.

In 2009, Courtenay transitioned to U.S. Cellular, where they took on the role of Construction and Design Manager. Their responsibilities included managing the retail development process for corporate and agent projects, including lease review, store planning/design, budget creation, construction management, and project closeout.

Most recently, Courtenay joined MedVet as a Real Estate Project Manager in 2023.

Courtenay James NCIDQ, LEED AP obtained a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Cincinnati, College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning. They received their degree from this institution, although the specific starting and ending years are not provided. Additionally, Courtenay James holds additional certifications including NCIDQ Certification from the NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR INTERIOR DESIGN QUALIFICATION INC, obtained in April 2004, and LEED Accredited Professional certification from the United States Green Building Council, obtained in February 2004.
