Ahmad Kayali

Ahmad Kayali has a varied and extensive work experience in software engineering roles. Ahmad is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at MEDWING since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Myjam from 2022 to 2023, where they were part of the core team that designed and maintained the MyJam MVP and led the design and implementation for mobile app development.

From 2020 to 2022, Ahmad worked at MEDWING as a Software Engineer. In this role, they collaborated with team members to design and implement web apps, developed and maintained micro-frontend apps, and created GraphQL API and backend micro-services.

Before that, from 2018 to 2020, they worked at The Sultan Center as a Full Stack Developer, where they collaborated with team members to build an Order Management System, developed and maintained internal web apps for operations, and created and maintained RESTful APIs.

Ahmad also has experience working as a Frontend Developer at Sharqi Shop - DecorNerd from 2017 to 2018, where they developed high-end Magento themes, developed Magento-based web modules, and performed data migration from different eCommerce platforms to Magento.

Additionally, they worked at ShopGo from 2014 to 2017, initially as a Technical Support representative, where they resolved technical issues, provided online customer support, and performed catalog importation. Later, they transitioned into a Web Developer role at ShopGo, where their responsibilities included developing Magento modules, troubleshooting e-commerce site issues, and resolving technical issues.

Ahmad Kayali completed their Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Princess Sumaya University for Technology in 2018. Prior to that, they also pursued their Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Aleppo University and completed it in 2014. In addition to their education, Ahmad obtained a certification as a Magento Solution Specialist from Magento Commerce in February 2015.
