Thirumaran Umakanthan has a diverse and extensive work experience. Thirumaran started their career as a Quality Engineer at DAECHANG INDIA SEAT COMPANY PRIVATE LIMITED in 2012. After that, they joined HCL Technologies in 2014 as a Lead Engineer, where they were responsible for project management, team mentoring, and ensuring compliance to ISO standards. In 2018, they became the Director & CEO at MedzLegal, utilizing their expertise in healthcare technology and operations to provide clients with accurate and efficient support. Throughout their career, Thirumaran has demonstrated a commitment to professionalism, ethical principles, and client satisfaction.

Thirumaran Umakanthan earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, completing their studies from 2008 to 2012.
