Alexandre Castera

Alexandre Castera is a seasoned professional in product management and engineering, currently serving as the Head of Business Unit at Meero since March 2024, where leadership is provided to the Fashion Business Unit and the AI-powered platform AutoRetouch. Prior to this role, Alexandre held the position of Director of Product & Engineering at XXII from February 2021 to March 2024, overseeing a multi-disciplinary team and managing product strategy for an AI platform focused on real-time video analysis. Additional experience includes roles as Director of Engineering at Aptol Systems Inc., Computer Vision Team Lead, and as a Computer Vision Engineer at PROPHESEE, contributing to autonomous vehicle technology and algorithms development. Alexandre’s early career included positions in data analysis and project management, complemented by a robust education with a Master's Degree from École Polytechnique and participation in the Learn2Launch Program at UC Berkeley.
