Andy LaPointe

Andy LaPointe has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Andy started their career as a Licensed Realtor in 1986, working for Real Estate One LLC, where they sold residential and commercial real estate. Andy later joined Coldwell Banker/Resort Real Estate as a Licensed Realtor from 1992 to 1994.

In 1994, Andy transitioned into finance and became a Stock Broker/Bank Broker for First of Michigan Corporation. Andy held this role until 1998 when the company was acquired and the office closed. Following that, they worked as a Hybrid Mutual Fund Wholesaler/Tele-Mutual Fund Wholesaler for BISYS Fund Services. Andy'sresponsibilities included increasing mutual fund sales for the Bank of Oklahoma through sales strategies and educational courses.

From 1999 to 2000, Andy worked as a Mutual Fund Wholesaler for Pilgrim Mutual Funds/ING Investment Banking, where they significantly increased sales.

Starting in 2000, Andy began their tenure at Travelers/Bank of New York/Lockwood Advisors as a Regional Vice President. Andy conducted training meetings, public seminars, conferences, and investor meetings while selling separate accounts, hedge funds, annuities, and mutual funds. Andy held this position until 2015.

Afterward, Andy entered the cryptocurrency industry and worked for Bitcoin Capital Management LLC as a Cryptocurrency Training/Digital Asset Consultant/CryptoCurrency Advisor/Crypto Product Manager since 2015.

In 2018, Andy co-founded AgTracer.com, a trust-focused food authenticity blockchain solution that provides transparency and traceability in the food industry.

Most recently, since 2020, Andy has been the National Sales Director US for MeetAmi Innovations Inc., where they support financial advisors in implementing digital assets into their practice through a customized software tool called AmiPro.

Andy LaPointe earned a BBA in Finance from Eastern Michigan University between 1988 and 1991.
