Ursula Schoefl has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in general management roles. Ursula most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at Meeting Point Hotels starting in March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Marriott International and Sheraton La Caleta Resort & Spa as a General Manager from 2016 to February 2022. Ursula was also a General Manager at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Le Meridien St Julians (now the Marriott Malta), Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa, and Four Points by Sheraton Makhan Bay. Ursula'stenure at these various companies spanned from 2010 to 2022.
Ursula Schoefl's education history includes several certifications and a master's degree. In 2020, they obtained an Executive Leadership Certification from Cornell University. Prior to that, in 2016, they also received a Financial Management Certification from Cornell University. In 2013, Ursula pursued studies in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management, as well as in a related field, at Cornell University. In 2012, they completed certifications in Managing for Execution, Change Leadership, and High Performance Leadership, all from Cornell University. Additionally, in 2006, Ursula attended the Management Centre Europe, where they obtained a Fundamentals of Accounting and Finance certification. Finally, earlier in their education, they earned a Master's degree in Tourism Management from the College of Tourism & Leisure Management at Tourismusschulen Salzburg, Schloss Klessheim.
