Matt Dodson has worked in various roles since 2009. Matt began as a Bartender at Pantana Bobs in 2009, followed by a three month contract as a Travel Associate at Allianz Partners in 2013. In 2013, they also began working as an Inside Sales Representative at Professional Sports Publications, where they were responsible for C-Level national business to business advertising sales in USA Today publications and various others (digital and print media). In 2014, they became an Account Manager at BROOKS EQUIPMENT, followed by a role as an Ad Sales Director at Professional Sports Publications in 2015. In 2018, they worked as an Event Technology Consultant at GTR\u2122 | Event Technology and a Sales Representative at Payentry. In 2020, they joined Stova, formerly MeetingPlay, as an Account Manager, Sr. Customer Success Manager, Channel Partner Manager, and Sales Support Manager.

Matt Dodson obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Economics with a Business Minor from East Carolina University in 2012. Matt has also obtained several certifications, including CSS Essential Training from LinkedIn in September 2020, HTML Essential Training from LinkedIn in September 2020, Friends Of Factor 8 Account Executive (AE) Training and Referral Program from Factor 8 in April 2020, and HubSpot Sales Software from HubSpot Academy in December 2021.
