Martine Wijnsma has had a varied work experience. Martine began in 2008 as an Intern for Wanderer Leasure Holidays, then as a Trainee for Earth.org. In 2009, they became a Hostess for Hof van Gaia, GaiaZOO Business & Events. In 2016, they became a Day Manager for GaiaZOO. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Planner for CURA Advies & Training B.V. and then as a Business Analyst, Jr. Developer and Meetingplanner for Meetingselect.

Martine Wijnsma completed their Bachelor in Business Administration in Tourism Management at Breda University of Applied Sciences from 2004 to 2009, with a field of study in Tourism, Management and Consultancy.
