Shivam Ramphal

Shivam Ramphal has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Shivam is currently a Co-Founder at Maya AI, a position they have held since August 2019. In addition to this, they are a Product Hunt Ambassador at Product Hunt and a Founders Cafe - FC22 Fellow at Founders Cafe, both roles starting in February 2022.

Prior to their current roles, Shivam gained valuable clinical research experience as a Clinical Research Associate Intern at Florida Hospital Carrollwood and Tampa General Hospital, where they focused on radiology screening and patient interactions. Shivam was responsible for screening and recruiting eligible patients for clinical trials, obtaining informed consent, and collecting data in accordance with study protocols. These internships took place from January 2018 to April 2018.

Furthermore, Shivam has been an active member of HOSA-Future Health Professionals from September 2017 to March 2018. During this time, they honed their skills and knowledge in the field.

Shivam's earliest work experience was as an intern at Shriners Children's, where they served in multiple roles. As a prosthetic assistant, Shivam worked alongside the medical team to manufacture prosthetic arms and legs for kids. Shivam gained hands-on experience in the fabrication process, including casting, measuring, and fitting, while also ensuring patient satisfaction and comfort with the devices. Shivam held this position from January 2013 to March 2018.

Shivam Ramphal completed their Engineer's degree in Engineering from Hillsborough Community College from 2018 to 2022. Before that, from 2014 to 2018, they attended Tampa Bay Tech High School. In addition to their formal education, Shivam obtained a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) certification from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) in March 2018.
