Mehdi Abbas has over 15 years of extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as Executive Vice President and Head of Sales - Personal Banking, Retail Sales Strategy & New Initiatives at Meezan Bank Limited since March 2008. Previous roles at Meezan Bank include Senior Vice President, Vice President, Assistant Vice President, and Area Sales Manager, focusing on inbound sales force management and liabilities. Prior to Meezan Bank, Mehdi Abbas worked as a Preferred Banking Manager at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Mehdi Abbas holds an MBA in Islamic Banking & Finance from Karachi Institute of Economics & Technology, complemented by a Post Graduate Diploma in the same field. Recently, Mehdi Abbas completed a Management Development Programme at Lahore University of Management Sciences.
