Lori S.

CIO at MEFA

Lori S. has extensive work experience, starting in 1996 at Boston University. Lori began as an Assistant Director and then became a Senior Assistant Director, where they represented the University at various functions and assisted in budget administration. In 2004, they joined MEFA as the Director of Loan Operations, overseeing the loan portfolio and managing relationships with external partners. Lori then held roles as the Director of Business Process Development and the Director of Information Technology before becoming the CIO in 2017. As the CIO, Lori is responsible for leading all technology aspects of MEFA, including IT security, information systems, infrastructure, and staff. Lori also oversees technology spending and ensures proper planning and documentation.

Lori S. completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Business Administration at the University of Vermont from 1983 to 1987. Lori pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Education and Higher Education Administration from Boston University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. In addition to their academic qualifications, Lori S. holds a certification called RLF (Regional Leadership Forum) from the Society for Information Management, which they obtained in October 2019.
