P.eng. Ryan Sloan

Ryan Sloan, P.Eng., PMP, is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Completions Engineer at MEG Energy Corp since 2021, Ryan specializes in the planning and execution of completion and workover activities for the Christina Lake SAGD project, ensuring operations are safe and environmentally responsible. Previously, from 2011 to 2021, Ryan held various roles at Cenovus Energy including Completions Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed cost estimation, project planning, and operational support for significant well completion projects. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, both from the University of Saskatchewan. Additionally, Ryan's early career involved research roles at the University of Saskatchewan.
