Sidon van Laarhoven's work experience begins in 1991 when they worked as an Insurance & Financial adviser at Nationale-Nederlanden. In 1992, they became a Financial adviser at Rabobank and later transitioned to the role of Manager Private Banking from 1997 to 2001.
In 2001, Sidon joined VDL Bus & Coach as the Manager of the Supply Unit. Sidon then moved to Duotank Group BV in 2002, where they served as the COO until 2006. From 2007 to 2013, Sidon held the position of CEO and Owner at Duotank Group BV.
In 2014, Sidon took on the role of International Strategic Business & Organizational Developer at Tubing Food, a producer of high-end food and pharmaceutical-grade tubing. Sidon also co-founded Effect Management Groep in the same year and served as the Strategic Business & Organizational Development Co-Founder until 2018.
The latest entry on Sidon's work experience is as the CEO and Founder of Mega-Inliner, a company they established in 2016. Mega-Inliner offers high-tech Inliners for ISO tank containers and swap tank units, providing shippers and carriers with both standard and customized options.

Sidon van Laarhoven started their education at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marketing & Business administration. Sidon also pursued additional qualifications during this time, including NIMA A + B certification. In 1999, Sidon attended Fontys University of Applied Sciences again to receive training in Nevı, a field of study that was not specified.
Later, Sidon attended Radboud University from 2012 to 2016, where they achieved a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business Administration and Management with a focus on social organizational perspective with a cybernetic perspective.
Outside of their formal education, Sidon also pursued specialization in the insurance field. Sidon obtained a B qualification in insurance from SEA and undertook studies in Insurance & Business Administration at Summa College.
