Chris R.

Chris R. has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and web development. Chris is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer (Web / API) at MEGA The Privacy Company since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Full Stack Developer at Laybuy from September 2019 to November 2021, where they were responsible for developing client-facing web applications and supporting systems using various programming languages and libraries.

Before joining Laybuy, Chris worked at MEGA The Privacy Company as a Senior Software Engineer from November 2014 to August 2019. In this role, they were involved in front-end design, development, and UX of new features for the main web client SPA. Chris also performed code quality and security reviews and managed release management, deployment, testing, and updates of the live site.

Chris also gained experience as a Web Designer and Developer at Livewire Learning from March 2013 to March 2015 and as a Front-end Engineer at Aotea Interactive Media from February 2014 to October 2014. Prior to that, they served as a Lead Developer at SportsGen from June 2010 to October 2014 and as a Senior Web Developer at APN News & Media from November 2013 to January 2014. Chris has also worked as a Software Developer at Monitor Business Machines from July 2012 to October 2013, as a Web Developer at Webfit from January 2012 to July 2012, and as a Web Application Developer at Opus International Consultants from July 2011 to December 2011.

From 2002 to 2005, Chris R. attended the Southern Institute of Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor of Information Technology degree.
