Marine Boudry has extensive experience in the visual effects industry, currently serving as a VFX line producer, VFX coordinator, and compositing artist at Megalis VFX since March 2022. Previous roles include Lead Compositing and R&D, and compositing artist at anima inc. from February 2019 to March 2022, and Junior FX TD at Megalis VFX from October 2017 to February 2019. In addition, Marine Boudry contributed as a VFX artist at Cutting Edge for a brief period in 2017 and held multiple roles including concept artist, character/environment designer, modeler, and light compositor during a collaborative short film project for the Nagoya Animation Festival in 2015. Marine Boudry holds a master’s degree in Digital Direction from Rubika, earned in 2017.

Megalis VFX

Megalis is a global VFX studio founded in 2017 in Japan with the ambition to become the reference for visual effects in Asia. Over the years, we have grown from a Houdini effects-centric company to a full production studio. The team has worked on both episodic and film work. We’ve most recently completed work on our first full CG animation project for Netflix Japan - ONI: Thunder God’s Tale. Based in the heart of Tokyo and in two offices, we are now a little over eighty people. About half of our current staff is Japanese and the other half of the team are people from all over the world. We are looking forward to bringing talented artists and engineers from abroad into Japan. We also offer remote work opportunities.
