Kurt Haunreiter

Kurt Haunreiter is a Senior Process Consultant at MEGI Engineering since April 2023 and has served as an Assistant Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America since March 1984. From October 2015 to July 2023, Kurt was the Laboratory Manager and Instructor at the Wollenberg Paper & Bioresource Science Laboratory within the University of Washington School of Environmental and Forest Sciences, managing the Bioresource Science and Engineering program's facilities. Previous experience includes roles as Plant Manager at Royal Building Products, Pulp Mill Superintendent, and various leadership positions at Kimberly-Clark, as well as Analytical Chemist at James River Corporation. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Environmental and Forest Sciences from the University of Washington, an MSc in Paper Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, and dual bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and Japan Regional Studies from the University of Washington.
