Purushothama Kini

Purushothama Kini has worked in various roles throughout their career. Purushothama started their career as a Senior Technical Officer at Goodyear South Asia Tyres Ltd from 1993 to 2002. Purushothama then worked as a Plant Head at Exel Rubber Limited, where they successfully increased market share and productivity. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as the Head of India & Sri Lanka Business at Darmex S.A., where they achieved significant business growth and successfully established the company's brand in the Indian and Sri Lankan markets. In 2009, they joined Milliken & Company as the Head of Asia Pacific Business, where they spearheaded top and bottom line growth for the region. From 2015 to 2020, Purushothama worked for Bernauer Group of Companies as the Director of Sales & Business Development for the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa regions. During this role, they led multiple verticals and successfully established the brand as a stepping stone for the Asian manufacturing market. Most recently, since 2020, Purushothama has been a Partner at Bhaktha Priya Agencies, where they deal with eco-friendly peat products. Purushothama is currently the Managing Director of Mehler Engineered Products as of May 2022.

Purushothama Kini's education history includes completing a Primary & Secondary School education from Karnataka secondary school examination Board between 1977 and 1987. Purushothama then pursued Pre-University education from the Govt of Karnataka Education Dept from 1987 to 1989, focusing on Physics, Chemistry, math's & Biology. Purushothama later graduated from the Board of Technical Education Bangalore in 1993 with a degree in Polymer Technology, specializing in Rubber Products manufacturing, Polymer chemistry, and Rubber machinery. In 1999, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the Canadian School of Management. Purushothama further expanded their knowledge by completing the Global Program for Management development from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business in 2011, as well as acquiring an Executive certificate in Building the Business strategies for Asia Pacific from INSEAD in the same year. In 2012 to 2013, they completed an Executive -Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in International Business from Karnataka State Open University. Lastly, from 2017 to 2019, they studied Effective Personal Productivity at Leadership Management International INC (LMI).
