Joanne

Joanne Ma is a motivated individual with diverse experience in legal support and public health initiatives. Currently serving as a Legal Assistant at Mehlman Jacobs LLP since June 2022, Joanne has also held internships at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and Children's Hospital Los Angeles, focusing on nutrition, physical activity, and healthcare management. As Co-Lead for the UCLA CPO CalFresh program, Joanne manages a team dedicated to providing vital resources to students. Previous roles include tutoring at Kumon, serving as Vice President for the Kappa Alpha Pi Professional Pre-Law Fraternity at UCSD, and conducting research at JADE LAB UVA. Joanne's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Public Affairs from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from UC San Diego.
