Renata Presby's work experience begins in 1998 when they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Washington State University. In 2000, they joined Bechtel Corporation as a Junior Architect. In 2002, they transitioned to Meier Architecture • Engineering, where they worked as a Senior Architect and Project Manager, responsible for project design and management. At Meier Architecture • Engineering, they also held the role of Director of Architecture, overseeing a team of architects and designers. Finally, in 2016, they became the Managing Director and Principal Architect at APM Synergy, providing architectural and project management services for commercial projects.

Renata Presby attended Columbia Basin College from 1994 to 1996, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree. Following this, from 1996 to 2000, they enrolled at Washington State University and pursued a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Bachelor of Architecture from the School of Architecture and Construction Management.
