We develop and market high value potato varieties that make a difference for people around the world.

Everybody has the right to delicious and nutritious food. Our mission is to make this possible with high-quality potatoes that change people's lives around the world. ‘Everybody deserves to enjoy food’ is not just our slogan; it’s what drives us every day!

At Meijer Potato we believe in the potential of potatoes and our people to develop and market new varieties. We translate the demand of the potato value chain into potato genetics that deliver. By deploying trusted methods and technological innovations we focus only on the best varieties. Our potatoes serve purposes beyond basic nutrition, they represent progress!

Focus on greater availability and enjoyment
We understand that the world is constantly changing. Climate change, population growth, and economic fluctuations all impact food availability and market needs. In breeding, we anticipate changing demand and new opportunities and focus on greater availability and enjoyment. This is how we contribute to a better world.

Investing in growth
Innovations help us develop improved potato varieties more rapidly, adding value to the market to make the potato chain more efficient and sustainable. In this way, we support growers, customers, processors and other stakeholders.

Specialized seed potato growers carefully multiply high-quality seed potatoes, enabling our customers to maximize their business value with a potato that fits their needs 100%. Thanks to close and long-term cooperation, our partners around the world have the resources and knowledge to succeed. By investing in their growth, we invest in the future of food!
