Joshua Kovach

Joshua Kovach has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Joshua currently holds the position of Principal Software Engineer at Meijer, where they have been working since February 2021. Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Meijer starting from June 2020. Before joining Meijer, Joshua worked as an Android Engineer at the same company since March 2019.

Previously, Joshua worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Bravo LT, LLC from December 2018 to March 2019. Joshua also worked as a Software Developer at Collective Idea from May 2015 to November 2018, where they were responsible for leading Android development and supporting iOS development. Joshua also has experience as a Software Consultant at SpinDance, Inc. and as a Software Engineer at Maestro.

Earlier in their career, Joshua gained experience as an Intern Developer at Bloomfire and as a Web Programmer at Grand Valley Lanthorn. Joshua also worked as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at Lowe's. In their various roles, Joshua has developed, tested, and maintained mobile and web applications using languages such as Kotlin, Swift, Ruby, and Ruby on Rails.

Joshua Kovach attended Rockford High School from 1998 to 2002. Following high school, they pursued an Associate of Science degree in Engineering and Computing at Grand Rapids Community College from 2002 to 2003. Joshua then went on to study at Grand Valley State University from 2003 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, and Business.
