Meiji America Inc., founded in 2011 as the North American division, manufactures a variety of unique confectioneries and snacks in the U.S. Meiji® is best recognized for its HELLO PANDA™, YAN YAN™ and CHOCOROOMS® brands in the U.S. and Canada. Stauffer's is best recognized for its original animal crackers but the company also produces a variety of crackers and cookies in three bakeries across the United States. Stauffer's roots are in its' York, Pennsylvania location (Corporate Headquarters) where the first animal crackers were produce in 1871. Two additional bakeries are located in Cuba, New York and Santa Ana, California. Stauffer's distributes products nationwide that include Animal Crackers, Animal Cookies, Ginger Snaps, Lemon Snaps, Whales® Cheddar Cheese Bakes Snack Crackers and seasonal favorites.
