Jo Payne

Jo Payne is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in the architecture and hospitality sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Design at Meinhardt (UK) Ltd since September 2021, Jo also holds the position of Owner at JDP & Partners Limited and Vice President at Hotel Solutions Partnership. Previous roles include Vice President of Design at Venetian Cotai Limited and Executive Director of Design at Venetian Cotai Ltd, where design leadership focused on creating properties aligned with luxury brand standards. Jo's career began at P&T Architects and Engineers Ltd, followed by a senior architect role at Aedas Architects, before progressing to senior project architect at HKI Development Corporation, managing significant projects such as Fortune Plaza Beijing. From 2005 to January 2014, Jo was the Director of Design at IHG, overseeing architectural and interior design teams to ensure alignment with corporate standards, particularly for the Intercontinental and Crowne Plaza brands. Jo Payne is an alumnus of Edinburgh University.
