Harry Walmsley

Harry Walmsley is a seasoned professional in the biotech field, currently serving as an MSAT Development Scientist at MeiraGTx since August 2019. In this role, Harry focuses on the development of cell-based analytical assays, including infectivity, biological activity, and protein expression, for transfer to GMP laboratories while also providing technical support to the QC departments in Shannon, Ireland. Previously, as a QC Analytical Scientist, Harry designed and performed assays for novel gene therapy products. Prior experience includes a position as a Scientific Officer at Patheon, where responsibilities encompassed routine microbiological assays and specialized diagnostic tests. Harry holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science in Molecular Pathology from Victoria University of Wellington, completed in 2016.
