Jack McCarthy

Jack McCarthy has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Jack is currently serving as the Director of Product Supply & UK Supply Chain Ops at MeiraGTx, where they oversee warehousing, transportation, supply chain planning, and manufacturing scheduling. Prior to this, Jack worked at GSK in various positions, including Senior Shift Leader, Complaints and Supplier Quality Manager, Warehouse Team Leader, and Distribution Coordinator as part of the Supply Chain Apprenticeship Scheme. In these roles, they demonstrated strong leadership skills and accountability for managing teams and ensuring smooth operations within the supply chain function.

Jack McCarthy attended Richard Hale School from 2007 to 2014, where they studied Business, Economics, Computer Science, and Psychology at A Level. Jack then pursued further education at the East of England Logistics Academy from 2014 to 2016, where they earned a Level 5 Diploma in Supply Chain Operations with a focus on Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management. Jack then went on to study at Anglia Ruskin University from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained an FdA in Professional Practice in International Trade, specializing in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management. Finally, from 2017 to 2019, Jack attended the University of Plymouth, where they obtained a BSc in Professional Management Practice and gained Chartered Manager Status.
