Richard Giroux

Richard Giroux is the current COO and CFO of MeiraGTx. Richard has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry.

Richard started their career at Goldman Sachs in 1996, where they worked in equity derivatives for two years. Richard then moved to Salomon Smith Barney and worked in equity derivatives for another two years. In 2001, they became a partner at Sivik Global Healthcare, where they worked for seven years.

In 2009, Richard became a partner at Meadowvale Partners, where they worked for four years. In 2014, they joined Sarissa Capital Management LP as a partner. Richard left Sarissa in 2015 to join MeiraGTx.

Richard Giroux's educational career would include him earning a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Yale University.
