Weiping Liu received a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Science and Technology of China. Weiping then went on to receive a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same school. Finally, they received their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Information Physics from Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg.
