Mariano Gomez Bent has a diverse work experience spanning from 1995 to 2015. Mariano has held various roles in different companies, showcasing their expertise in technology and leadership.

Starting from 1995 to 1996, Mariano worked at Colmena Seguros as a Business Analyst/Programmer. During this time, they led the design and implementation of a custom Enrollment Commissions Payment and Statistics system, reducing enrollment fraud by 45% and saving the company $2M annually in commission expenses.

From 1996 to 1999, Mariano served as a Senior Software Architect at Nucleus, S.A., where they spearheaded the Spanish translation and regional localization of Microsoft Dynamics GP. Mariano also managed a software development budget of $2M and built the company's software development practice.

In 1999, Mariano joined Auxis as a Consulting Manager, overseeing the creation of Auxis' Implementation Methodology for Microsoft Dynamics ERP customers. Mariano managed a team of 12 consultants, actively participated in over 60 customer engagements, and received the Microsoft Business Solutions President's Club award for service excellence two years in a row.

From 2007 to 2015, Mariano worked at Maximum Global Business, LLC as the Director of Technology. In this role, they were responsible for the development and adoption of the company's solution selling, architecture, and deployment strategies. Mariano grew the company to 150+ customers in 8 countries and built a team of 20 consultants to support the engagement delivery process.

Finally, in 2015, Mariano joined Mekorma as the Chief Technology Officer. Mariano provided strategic direction and leadership to the technology department, developed comprehensive technology strategies, and led the adoption of Microsoft technology stack across the organization, resulting in increased operational efficiency and improved competitive positioning.

Mariano Gomez Bent has a strong educational background in technology administration and software engineering. Mariano obtained a Master of Information Systems (MIS) degree from the University of Phoenix in 2007. Prior to that, they completed a bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Antonio Nariño between 1989 and 1996. Mariano has also obtained multiple certifications from Microsoft and LinkedIn, specializing in generative AI, ethics in AI, artificial intelligence, and power platform solutions. Mariano became a Microsoft Certified Trainer in 2021 and has obtained various other Microsoft certifications in recent years. In 2021, they also became a Certified Application Developer from Acumatica.
