Vassili Philippov

Vassili Philippov is the current CEO at MEL Science. Vassili was previously the head of mobile distribution at Yandex from November 2011 to April 2014. Prior to that, they were the COO at SPB Software from January 2000 to November 2011. As one of the original founders of SPB Software, they helped grow the company from a small team of 5 people to the world's leader in Windows Mobile software.

Vassili Philippov studied Applied Mathematics at Saint Petersburg State University, where they earned their PhD. Vassili also holds MSs degrees in Mathematics and Physics from the same school. Additionally, they attended FMS 45.
