Emanuele also held roles at Slovenské Elektrárne - Enel, including Engineering Team Leader and Deputy Project Manager, where they contributed to strategic decisions and led a team while implementing engineering and maintenance processes for nuclear power plants. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior SAP Consultant at Slovenske elektrarne, an Enel Group company, and as a Junior Researcher at the University of Florence.

Emanuele Zamponi had a diverse educational background in the field of renewable energies and engineering. From 2000 to 2007, they attended the Università degli Studi di Firenze and obtained a Master's degree in Engineering. During this time, they also conducted research as a researcher from 2006 to 2008, focusing on renewable energies, specifically in the field of biomasses.

Furthermore, Emanuele Zamponi had international experiences in their education. In 2006, they studied at CIRAD Montpelier, specializing in renewable energy and biomasses.
