Pascale Guitera is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in dermatology and melanoma research. Currently serving as the Director at the Sydney Melanoma Diagnostic Centre since 2005 and a Professor at the University of Sydney since December 2020, Guitera has been a Dermatologist and Faculty Member at the Melanoma Institute Australia since 2010. Guitera completed a PhD at the Curie Institute in 2009, focusing on innovative imaging methods for diagnosing primary cutaneous melanoma and its metastasis, under the supervision of Francois Amblard and Scott Menzies. Earlier in the career, Guitera worked as a dermatologist at Saint Louis Hospital from 2002 to 2004 and earned an MD in dermatology from Paris VII University in 2002, now also recognized as a fellow by the Australasian College of Dermatology since 2008.
