Tara McHugh serves as the Group Treasurer at Melbourne Airport since February 2015, with a strong finance background encompassing roles such as Head of Finance and Group Financial Controller. With extensive experience in senior finance positions, Tara has effectively managed financial performance across multiple business units, ensuring compliance with statutory reporting and leading a high-performance finance team. Significant achievements include navigating the finance function through the COVID-19 pandemic, implementing multiple finance systems, and enhancing tax governance. Previous experience includes serving as Reporting & Performance Manager at Target Australia and various roles at PwC, where foundational skills in audit, assurance, and statutory reporting were developed. Tara holds several degrees in Accounting and Finance from prestigious institutions and completed the Deloitte CFO Vantage program.
