Matt Young

Matt Young is an experienced professional in the sports management field, currently serving as Community Manager at Melbourne Football Club since February 2023. Prior roles include Football Development Manager at AFL Victoria from November 2017 to February 2023, and Football Development Manager at Eastern Football League/AFL Victoria from February 2017 to November 2017. Previously, Matt held the position of Product Support Administrator at the Australian Football League for nearly a year and worked as Game and Market Development Coordinator at AFL Northern Territory from April 2014 to December 2015. Matt Young earned a Bachelor of Sports Management with a focus on Sports Sciences and Business Management from Federation University Australia and obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Queensland University of Technology.
