Alana Jacob

Alana Jacob is an experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in physiotherapy and health management. Currently serving as Project Manager for Planned Surgery Reform and Allied Health Manager of Physiotherapy & Exercise Physiology at The Royal Melbourne Hospital since May 2017, Alana also holds an honorary position as Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne since March 2021. Previous roles include Allied Health Operations Manager at The Wesley Hospital (2016-2017), Clinical Leader of Acute & Paediatric Physiotherapy Service at Northern Health (2015-2016), and Senior Physiotherapist in General Medicine at Alfred Health (2010-2015). Alana holds a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in health and human services management from Deakin University, completed between 2014 and 2016, and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Charles Sturt University.
