Chanelle van der Westhuizen

Chanelle V. is a Medical Scientist and Medical Laboratory Technician at The Royal Melbourne Hospital since December 2021. Chanelle holds a Master's of Science in Animal and Veterinary Bioscience from La Trobe University and is currently pursuing a Master's of Data Science. Previous experience includes roles as a Laboratory Assistant at ASAP Laboratory, a student intern at DEDJTR Diagnostic Virology and Immunology, and volunteer work assisting a researcher in agricultural laboratory tests. Chanelle also has a background in customer service from a position as a waitress and barista at Rita’s pizzeria and restaurant, as well as work placement experience at THE Equine Practice. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Animal and Veterinary Bioscience from La Trobe University.
