Christopher Yates is an accomplished endocrinologist with extensive experience in diabetes and endocrinology research. Currently serving as the Director of Diabetes and Endocrinology Research at Western Health since June 2014, Christopher also holds the position of Deputy Director of Bone and Mineral Medicine at The Royal Melbourne Hospital & NorthWestern Mental Health. Additionally, Christopher practices as an endocrinologist at the Victorian Endocrine Clinic and leads the Bone Densitometry Unit at the Royal Melbourne Hospital Department of Medicine, roles undertaken since March 2014 and April 2019 respectively. Christopher’s academic qualifications include a PhD in Drug-induced Diabetes from the University of Melbourne, a postdoctoral fellowship in Neuroendocrinology from the University of Oxford, and a Fellowship in Endocrinology from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
