Dr Ahmed Elsayed

Ahmed Elsayed is a proficient healthcare professional and academic, currently serving as the Medical Practitioners Education Program Lead and Academic Research Fellow at The Royal Melbourne Hospital since March 2021. In this role, Ahmed has successfully spearheaded a multidisciplinary program focused on health projects' development from ideation to launch. Ahmed also holds the position of Honorary Research Fellow at La Trobe University, contributing to research on aged care rehabilitation and rural health. Previously, as the Strategic Transformation Lead at the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, Ahmed enhanced medical training practices across Australasia, achieving notable improvements in stakeholder satisfaction. With additional experience in health insights advising at Medibank, teaching at Monash University, and various research roles, Ahmed's educational background includes a PhD in Pharmacology, Immunology, and Inflammation from Monash University, alongside multiple degrees in related fields.
