Jake Laycock is currently an Intern (PGY1) at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, serving as a Junior Doctor in Training since January 2020. Jake completed clinical years at The Royal Melbourne Clinical School and holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Melbourne (2020-2023). In September 2023, Jake participated in a medical elective in the Department of Neurosurgery at both the University of Oxford and Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Additionally, Jake's academic background includes an Honours degree in Neuroscience from the University of Queensland, where research focused on MRI co-registration for improving neurosurgical techniques. Jake is pursuing a Graduate Diploma of Surgical Anatomy with a focus on Neuroanatomy & Radiology at the University of Melbourne from January 2024 to July 2024.
