Joanne Dwyer is an experienced professional in hospitality and event management, currently serving as the Hospitality Operations Manager at Melbourne & Olympic Parks since December 2024. Prior to this role, Joanne held various positions at the Victoria Racing Club from April 2016 to December 2024, including Food and Beverage Manager for Experience and Events and Functions Manager for Commercial Operations. Previously, Joanne worked as the Sales, Events and Marketing Manager at Longroom from December 2008 to February 2016 and began their career at Melbourne & Olympic Parks from 2002 to 2008 as a Corporate Sales Co-Ordinator. Joanne's early experience includes serving as the Conference Centre Manager at Monash Conference Centre / Monash University from 1999 to 2002. Joanne Dwyer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Tourism & Hospitality) from La Trobe University, completed between 1997 and 1999.

The precinct is home to six of Melbourne's premier venues; Rod Laver Arena, Margaret Court Arena, John Cain Arena, AAMI Park, CENTREPIECE and Kia Arena. The unrivalled location is situated between Melbourne’s CBD and Botanic Gardens, bound by the Yarra River. Comprising around 40 hectares, as the name suggests, it joins together the exceptionally unique premises of Melbourne Park and Olympic Park. It’s a place where lasting memories are made and legendary matches are played.
