Venue Stage Manager at Melbourne Recital Centre

Matthew Nash is an experienced venue and production manager, currently serving as Venue Stage Manager at the Melbourne Recital Centre since June 2019 and as Production Manager/Festival Manager for the Australian Contemporary Opera Company at the Yarra Valley Opera Festival since June 2018. With a robust background in managing large-scale events, Matthew oversaw the 3MBS Beethoven Marathon in 2020, coordinating over 235 performers and a 40-person crew for an audience of 3,000. Previous roles include Sales Manager at Curated Group, Owner/Director at Manifesto Brands Pty Ltd, and various production management positions in opera. Matthew holds a BA Hons in History from the University of Sydney and possesses extensive experience across different sectors, including arts management and sales leadership.
