Legal Team Lead at Melbourne Space Program

Abraham Alonzo Guiyab has held various roles throughout their work experience. Abraham Alonzo began by interning at the Puyat, Jacinto & Santos Law Firm in 2014. Subsequently, they worked as a Competition Lawyer at Abad Alcantara & Associates from 2016 to 2020. In 2017, they joined Ateneo de Manila University as an Assistant Lecturer for Competition Law. In 2020, they became the General Counsel at SAVii. Moreover, Abraham has also served as the Legal Team Lead at the Melbourne Space Program since 2023. Additionally, they are currently the Director of Education at the Melbourne Alternative Protein Project, a position they obtained in 2023.

Abraham Alonzo Guiyab pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) degree with a focus on Competition, Technology Law, and Consumer Protection from the University of Melbourne from 2023 to 2024. Prior to that, they completed their Juris Doctor (Honors) degree in Law at Ateneo de Manila University from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Political Economy from the University of Asia and the Pacific from 2008 to 2012. Throughout their education, they also obtained various certifications in fields such as rural resilience, agriculture, information privacy, and financial technology.
