Gary Franks

Gary Franks is a seasoned Enterprise Architect at Melbourne Water, with over two decades of experience in IT infrastructure and architecture. Since July 2001, Gary has played a pivotal role in defining and governing systems architecture, managing the enterprise architecture repositories, and collaborating with business consultants to develop high-level solution designs. Prior roles at Melbourne Water include IT Infrastructure Planning Manager and Team Leader for IT Infrastructure and Operations, where key achievements encompassed onboarding managed services partners and enhancing change management processes. Gary's earlier career included positions at Unisys, Microarts Australia, and Rod Irving Electronics, where expertise in Windows and Netware systems, as well as PC production management, was honed. Gary Franks holds a Master of Technology in Enterprise Architecture from RMIT, completed between 2011 and 2014.
