Desmond Kp Wong

Desmond KP Wong's work experience includes roles at various companies. Desmond KP started their career at Arthur Andersen & Co in 1997 as an AM/Senior and worked there until 2002. Desmond KP then joined EY as a Manager/AM until 2005. From 2005 to 2012, Desmond worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Manager/Manager. In 2012, they joined Melco Resorts & Entertainment as the Director of Financial Compliance until 2015. Desmond KP then became the Vice President of Internal Audit & Internal Control Compliance at the same company in 2016.

Desmond KP Wong obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of London between 2021 and 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Malaya from 1994 to 1997. Additionally, Desmond has acquired several certifications, including becoming an Associate Member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from both the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and The Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), as well as being a Chartered Accountant with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
