Omar Moufidi

Omar Moufidi is an experienced executive in information technology and project management, currently serving as Vice President of the Project Management Office at Melco Resorts & Entertainment since August 2017. In this role, Omar directs a global IT project management team, overseeing portfolio and project management services across multiple countries, including Hong Kong, Macau, the Philippines, and Cyprus, with a focus on opening integrated resorts. Previously, Omar was the AVP of Information Technology - Solution Delivery at Sands China, where strategic IT CAPEX plans were developed and progress reported to the COO. Omar also held the position of IT Director - Solutions Delivery at Wynn Las Vegas, managing multiple departments and collaborating with executives on business initiatives. Earlier career roles include Managing Partner at Moxbe Inc., Principal Technical Consultant at PeopleSoft, and Unix Administrator at ALCATEL USA. Omar holds a degree from California State University, Chico.
