Francis Sam

Francis Sam is the current General Manager at Melcom Group of Companies. Prior to this, they were with Samsung Electronics America as Procurement Controller and Assistant Controller.

Francis has over 8 years of experience in managerial accounting and controlling. As Procurement Controller at Samsung, they were responsible for overseeing the entire procurement scope of work, awarding contracts, and coordinating procurement leases. Francis also assisted the Group Head Controller in supporting the CFO and CEO to accomplish company mission.

At Melcom Group of Companies, Francis is responsible for leading and managing the company's overall operations. Francis provides support in all areas of finance, with oversight on budgets, business planning and reporting. Francis also highlights the impact of initiatives, risk, and opportunities to leadership team using targeted structural reporting to CEO.

Francis Sam's educational career includes obtaining a Master of Business Administration - MBA from Rutgers University, a BBA from Pace University - Lubin School of Business, and a BS from the University of Ghana - Legon. Francis also has an A Levels Certificate in Business Administration and Management, General from Aggrey Memorial School and an O Levels Certificate in Business Administration and Management, General from St. Augustines College. In addition, they have received certification from the University of Oxford in IFRS and from HR Block in Certified Tax Professional.

Francis Sam reports to Mahesh Melwani, Joint Group MD. They are on a team with Sushil Jha - Head of Audit, Mudit Bhatnagar - Chief Commercial Officer, and Godwin Avenorgbor - Director of Communication.
